International Micron 350 Antifouling Paint

The International Micron 350 is a premium self-polishing copolymer (SPC) antifouling paint designed to provide outstanding protection against fouling organisms, including slime, aquatic plants, and animals. Its advanced formulation ensures truer colours and offers up to two years of effective performance in both fresh and saltwater environments.

Application Guidelines

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. For previously antifouled surfaces in good condition, remove all fouling and contamination thoroughly, including the leached layer. Use high-pressure fresh water wash (3000 psi/207 bar) and/or scraping and wet sanding with typically 80-120 grade paper. Do not dry sand. If the old antifouling is incompatible or unknown, seal with a suitable International Paint barrier/sealer coat.
2. Priming:
   • Bare GRP: Prime with Gelshield 200 for osmosis protection, or Primocon.
   • Steel/Iron/Lead/Wood: Prime with Interprotect or Primocon.
3. Application: Stir thoroughly before use. Apply 2-3 coats using a brush, roller, or spray, allowing adequate drying time between coats.
